Birds in New Zealand

I searched for difference birds between New Zealand and Japan.
　　　New Zealand’s national bird is Kiwi. It is the bird of ostrich department inhabiting the New Zealand. It size is as large as a chicken and the smallest of all ostrich department. It can’t fly by myself, because it’s wings and a tail feather are very small. It was named a kiwi by the Maori which was New Zealand indigenous people. It is nocturnal, so in the noon it hide tree’s hole.
　　　Japanese national bird is pheasant (Japanese name is Kiji). It is the bird of pheasant department inhabiting the Japan. It’s not good at fly, but it can run fast. The male is the green that a wing and a color of the body except the tail feather are beautiful generally.
